Up the road from our place
About half a mile away
There was an almond orchard!
I had my one almond tree but
You could bet on me
Knowing how much I loved almonds!
How I longed to imagine
That if all those trees
Belonged to just me
How much fun I could have
Just eating them!
I would probably explode
Eating almonds by the load
But boy would I have fun imagining!
