The Copper Triangle

We took a little train trip
Yes! Actually it was on a little train!
It went around a few places
Showing us traces
Of how copper was found
Up & around Moonta!
It showed us all how
The Copper Triangle was made
Between Wallaroo, Kadina 
And Moonta!
We saw photographs
Of those poor ten year old boys
Who had to work so hard
To feed their poor families
The death rate was so high and
I'll tell you why!
It was such a dirty job
Without even imagining
All of those toxins!
The local cemetery 
Boasts many children's burials
Due to all of that lead
Left in those copper beds
As they tried to get it all out of that ore!
