My dear little grandson
Has shown me already
That he is a real little thinker!
He was 18 months old
When he was dragging
The telescope's tripod
From one room to another!
He stopped to take note
Of that doorway and quote
"He put down that tripod
Went up to that door
Opened it some more
Then approached to go through
But then thought it through again and
He opened that door some more
Then picked up that telescope tripod
And finally advanced to that door
And went right on through it!"
