Two sisters

Nana Evelyn and her baby sister Imelda
Were very close; throughout their lives and
Especially in their later years
They lived right next door in Dover Street
They had their little visits every other day
You couldn't keep them parted
Not in any way!
Nana's garden was a mess when she arrived
But through perseverance it became
A little taste of paradise!
Every time those two would take a walk
They'd return with little plants
Anything they came upon
Along those well walked paths
Would be rescued and brought on home
Tended with such loving care
They grew apace among that love
And enchanted my two girls
When they were young
It was like a little bit of sunshine in
A little bit of fairy land
To play in Nana Lindy's
Beautiful back yard!
