Why does losing a loved one
have to hurt so much?
Why do you have to lose
something before you appreciate it?
The lessons that we learn
when we are young
Help us grasp the importance
of life as we go along
But Lord it hurts so much;
how to explain
Why must we hurt so much,
again and again?
These lessons are so
powerful
Let us please learn and live
and love again
