I pray for all who are in strife
Though it is hard to live when locked up
It is difficult to live confined...but
You don't need bars to keep you
You don't need physical restraints
You can be locked within your psyche
By some painful distant past...
Though bars and walls enclose you
Though difficulties may surely arise...
You are free to pray to the Lord dear
He hears your every whispered word
Pray faithfully dear children...
Your Father hears your every cry
Though some don't know the reasons
It is better to surrender in your seasons
Stay calm and remain focused...
Place one foot before the other...
Remain still, let peace wash over you...
Let your Father up above sustain you
For if you struggle against your bonds dear
Your faith will slowly and surely die
Know there must be a reason
Know there is a lesson to be learned
For when you are released and see all
God willing you will see the reason why
