After praying earnestly to my Lord
I feel peace returning: answers come
I no longer feel like I am burning
I am surrounded by calm: feeling blessed
I feel the power of the Lord almighty
Right here within my beating heart
I feel comfort for which I have been yearning
My cup He fills again: my peace restored
I am buoyed up with hope once more
I can cope with all this pain
That recently had me churning...
I praise the Lord for He has come
Taken my hand and lifted me up
Here I stand upon my Rock
From this blessed place there is no turning
