We're having a heat wave this week
Temperatures soaring: way too hot
That's when we will have to be happy
With the air conditioning we've got!
I am so thankful for the little swimming pool
Just up the road in dusty old Cambrai
I'll be there each evening; swimming a lot!
I'll probably take my grandsons too
They like to have a little cooling splash
It's way too hot to sit around at home
Sweltering in that awful heat so
Off we'll go to Cambrai pool: for sure
Yes we'll definitely be there: quite a lot!
