I remember feeling jealous of Susie's friend Monica
I remember wishing that I was her: living close to Susie
Being her best friends: having so much fun together
Now I remember that Susie's best friend Monica died
In a car accident at the age of 18 years: poor baby
I feel so sorry for all those parents who have lost children
No matter the age they died: it must be so sad
To see them go before you: to lose them in their prime
Dear Lord please send a comforter to all those
Who have lost loved ones: no matter how or when they went
They will need Thy comfort still!
